History

The Dahlonega Market Place is housed inside of  Hall's Block Building. Built in 1883 by Captain Frank W. Hall, it was originally used as Dahlonega's first hardware store. Hall's Block has had many uses through the years and is currently host to our beautiful events venue, along with several quaint shops.  Rich with history and character, this charming three-story brick building still features most of its original structure, including the well-worn hardwood floors and picturesque windows overlooking the historic Dahlonega square.
